The third parties we rely on
We keep this list short on purpose, and these are the only parties that receive your information in the ordinary running of the service:
- NationBuilder the system your organisation’s supporter records live in. HandyNation reads from and writes to your nation on your instruction.
- Stripe our payment processor. Subscription payments are handled entirely by Stripe and your full card details are never sent to, or stored on, our servers.
- Google Maps used to draw the canvassing map in the mobile app. Map requests necessarily include the map area being displayed.
Special Intimation about Minors and Children
As we have mentioned in our Terms, we never solicit or collect personal information intentionally from any person below 13years or knowingly allow such individuals to register with our services. If you have not completed 13years, you should not send any detail, such as name, email address, telephone number or address to us. In case, we identify of collecting personal information from 13years below children without proper verification of parental consent we will immediately the respective information. Collection of Personal Information from You
Whenever you sign up to get our services, you provide us your name, your email address and other similar type of information. Even we collect details from the social media accounts of our visitors.
Whenever you use our Services, we send cookies to your PC/laptop for identifying your browser and allow you boost the overall experience with our offered services. You may setup the web browser to refuse cookies or indicate whenever we send a cookie. However, in case you opt to disable the accept cookies, a few of our services may fail to function in a right way. We opt to use tiny images referred as GIFs to keep a track on our users’ behaviors, including statistics related to opening our emails.
Our HandyNation servers record specific log file information automatically reported from the online browser whenever you gain access to the services. We delete these log files after a period of one week.

Our HandyNation never sells or rents the personally identifiable information to other people. Instead, we may share the respective information with third parties to provide you required service. In case we do this, third parties using the provided information remain bound with our Privacy Policy. Even we may opt to store your personal information in specific locations, which remain outside of the direct control of our HandyNation, such as our databases or servers co-located with our hosting providers.
As we start with developing our business, we make the purchase or sell assets and/or business offerings. The HandyNation Mobile App
Our mobile app for Android and iOS is a field tool for canvassers, so it asks for a small number of device permissions that the website never needs. Each one is requested only when you first use the feature that depends on it, and each can be refused or withdrawn at any time in your device settings. Refusing a permission disables that one feature and nothing else.
Location
With your permission, the app reads your device’s precise location to show the people and doors nearest to you on the canvassing map and in the Nearby tab, and to record where a door was marked while you walk a round. Your location is used to draw the map you are looking at and to attach a position to the canvassing activity you record. We do not track your device in the background, and the app does not collect location while it is closed.
Camera
With your permission, the app uses the camera to scan the QR code on an attendee’s event RSVP so you can check them in at the door. Scanning happens on your device and the camera image is never uploaded, stored or transmitted — only the code’s contents are read, and only while the scanner screen is open.
Biometrics (fingerprint or face)
If you enable it, the app can use your device’s fingerprint or face unlock to restore your signed-in session, so you do not have to type your password in the field. The check is performed entirely by your device’s own secure hardware. We never receive, see or store your fingerprint or face data — the app is only told whether your device accepted you.
Information stored on your device
So that canvassing keeps working where there is no signal, the app stores the doors you have marked in an encrypted database on the device itself and sends them to our servers once you are back online. Your sign-in token is likewise held in your device’s protected storage. Signing out or uninstalling the app removes both.
Deleting Your Account and Your Data
You can ask us to delete your HandyNation account and the personal information held about you at any time. Write to us from the address on your account and we will action the request and confirm when it is done. We will always tell you if some information has to be kept, and why.

Two things are worth being clear about, because HandyNation sits alongside your NationBuilder nation. First, deleting your HandyNation account removes your access and the information we hold about you as a user of this service; it does not delete the supporter records that belong to your organisation, which remain that organisation’s data. Second, information your organisation has synchronised to NationBuilder lives in NationBuilder under their agreement with you, and has to be deleted there as well as here.
Where we are required to keep certain records — for example billing history we must retain for tax and accounting purposes — we keep only what the law requires, for only as long as it requires, and nothing further.

With the help of your account settings, you will gain access and in some of the cases, you may edit and/or delete your provided information-

- Your information about user profile containing any content you already upload to our service
